What is Ear Irrigation?
Ear irrigation is a method used to cleanse the ears and remove excess ear wax. By using a controlled pressurised pulsing flow of room temperature water, excess wax is gently broken down, dislodged and carried out of the ear.
Ear wax is produced by the ear as part of its natural process of cleaning and protection, and in the majority of cases does not need to be removed. However if excess wax is allowed to build up, it can cause symptoms such as hearing loss, itching, fullness, ringing and occasionally pain.
